Last week I headed off to New York City to check out the National Stationery Show. The show is huge and takes two days to really walk the whole thing, which of course, led to terribly mangled feet. But what’s a little pain in the search for knowledge, right?

Snowboarding photographer and team manager Cory Grove gives FIELD NOTES and our Aaron Draplin a shout out in his YoBeat interview. Cory now runs Cobra Dogs, selling lunch on the slope-y parts of the Pacific Northwest.
FIELD NOTES made a couple appearances in Friday’s Layer Tennis match featuring FIELD NOTES creator Aaron Draplin vs. Chris Glass, as they celebrated May Day by conceptualizing a logo for a graphic design trade organization.
Speaking of conceptualization (and great Layer Tennis matches), Jason Santa Maria isn’t explicitly talking about FIELD NOTES in his latest dispatch, but we like the way he thinks, and especially the way he writes it down.
