So a few weeks back, I was in NYC for the fab Capsule Show. FIELD NOTES had a booth there and we met a ton of really cool people and are now carried in a bunch of new stores. So long as I was there I decided to take a trip over the Brooklyn to visit some of our retailers as a follow up to a trip I made in May to stores that carry Field Notes in Manhattan.
My first stop was in Williamsburg to see one of very first retailers, DijitalFix. They have been with FIELD NOTES almost from the start so it was great to meet David and Amelia and see the store. Very cool, definitely check it out!
Next I worked my way over to Boerum Hill and Annie’s Blue Ribbon General Store. The store is totally awesome and it’s even a favorite of our friend Tina Roth aka Swiss Miss. It was really nice to meet Anne and see FIELD NOTES on the shelves. Thanks for the clever display!
Next stop, Park Slope and the nice folks at Cog and Pearl. The store is lovely, they really have some beautiful things there. I’d say FIELD NOTES is def in good company there.
The last stop of the day took me out to Red Hook where I found Sarah, Susan and Eric at their brand new showroom for Saipua. They had just opened and were working on the interior layout in preparation for photo shoot with a Japanese magazine later in the day. Their new space is gorgeous and will definitely show off Saipua’s products to their full advantage.
I loved meeting everyone in Brooklyn and at the Capsule Show too, I get to know our retailers via email and feel like these folks are friends, so it was really a pleasure to meet them all in person! Hmmm, maybe I should head out to California next…
