S. L. Dixon was “inspired by Dan Winters’ shot of John Hughes’ expansive notebook collection.” So he shot his own version. The original photo appeared in the March, 2010 issue of Vanity Fair Magazine. We’re glad to have a been a part of the Mr. Hughes’ note-taking process.
