New. Field Notes Films.

We’ve been so busy adding new stores to our Field Notes retail family that we haven’t even had time to tell you about them! Since we have added ton of really great retailers, we’ll do a couple of posts over the next week or so to let you know about all of them. Kicking it right off, a big welcome to the folks at Renegade Handmade here in Chicago, IL and Aperture in Cleveland, OH. Next up, say hi to everyone at Blueskies Gifts in Chattanooga, TN. Swinging up north, we make a quick trip to Baltimore, MD and Sixteen Tons and then on down to gorgeous Savannah GA and stop by Arc. On down to Deland, FL and the fine folks at Newfangled Modern Market. Up next is Department Seventeen in San Francisco, CA. Trucking up the coast, we drop in on the good people at Paper Hammer in Seattle WA. Last but certainly not least, we come back home to Field Notes Midwest headquarters in Chicago, IL and the always great Rotofugi. Thanks to all our new Field Notes retailers and welcome to the family!

The photo above is from the brand new brick and mortar store of our very first online retailer, Three Potato Four. The new shop looks amazing and opens August 28th, if you’re in Philly, stop in and say hi to Stu and Janice. The lazy days of summer have been anything but lazy when it comes to adding new retailers to the Field Notes family! We have a big list to get through so off we go! We welcome our first retailer in Alabama, the nice folks at Auburn Hardware in Auburn. Heading over to Canton OH and the Malone University bookstore and then over to St. Paul MN and the nice folks at Micawbers Books. Moving on to Albuquerque NM and the lovely Farm Shop at Los Poblanos and then enjoying the sea breezes in Seal Beach CA where we find Golden State Goods. Taking a drive up the coast to Portland OR you’ll spot the fab new shop from Core 77, Hand-Eye Supply. Back in the Midwest in the Windy City, we welcome the Academy Bookstore at IADT Chicago and then we head back to PA and say hi to Trove General in Paoli. Across the pond we find Denim + in Bussum, The Netherlands and last but not least, we head down under and the fine folks at Division 2. Phew! A big welcome to all our new retailers!

Just got a call from FN travelling salesmen Steve and Daniel, on their way to set up our extravagant trade show booth at the Monona (IA) County Fair. Right now, they’re getting gas near John Wayne’s birthplace outside Des Moines. Tonight they’ll reluctantly take a pass on Monona’s vibrant nightlife to get an early start at the fair tomorrow. If you find yourself in eastern Nebraska or western Iowa on Friday, stop by our booth and say “hi,” we’re predicting long lines so come early.

Also, if you’re going to the Pitchfork Music Festival here in Chicago to see eight thousand great bands including PAVEMENT and LCD SOUNDSYSTEM, be sure to visit 826 Chicago’s The Boring Store booth for County Fair FN goodness.

We wanted to say congrats to David and the fine folks at DijitalFix as they open up their second location, this one in the Lower East Side at 9 Clinton Street, NYC. Be sure to stop by the opening bash this Friday, June 18th, the fun starts at 7pm. The checkout counter in the photo above was designed and made by David and is made completely out of shipping pallets. Thanks for featuring Field Notes so prominently! We’ve added a bunch of really great retailers to our retail family, a big welcome to Cranky Yellow in St. Louis MO and The Coffee Ethic in Springfield, MO. We have our first retailer in the fine state of Maryland, Bertram’s Inkwell in Kensington. Moving on over to Austin, TX, say hi to the nice folks at Bows + Arrows and then on up to the Screaming Sky Gallery in Portland, OR. Heading back to the Midwest, we welcome Lunalux in Minneapolis, MN and last but certainly not least, FlyBird in Oak Park, IL.

Time for another round up of new Field Notes retailers and the list has gotten pretty big so I will break this up into two posts. Thanks to good folks at St. Johns College Bookstore, we now have our first retailer in New Mexico in lovely Santa Fe. Jumping over to Corpus Christi TX and saying hi to the cool kids at Produce. Over on the East coast, welcome to The Paper Tyger in Falmouth, MA and the Cape Cod Pantry in Provincetown MA which opens Memorial Day weekend for the summer. Next we head overseas to the UK and Folk with two locations in London and Found in Bath. We have our first retailer in Sweden with Krig & Fred in Stockholm and another white dot in Denmark with Cold Rice Social Club in Copenhagen. We’ve added a retailer in Munchen, Germany with UmWerk and our solo retailer in Singapore at Strangelets and last but not least, Bay of Fire Wines in Tasmania, Australia. A very big welcome to all and thanks for carrying Field Notes!

Whew! So many new stores we had to make a second post to fit them all in. Starting off in sunny CA we say hi to Juxtaposition Home in Newport Coast and Heritage in Roseville and then move on to Driftwood, ReForm School and Lawson-Fenning in LA. Moving on up the coast to Seattle and The Elliott Bay Book Company and Spindle Shop. Heading into our territory in the Midwest, we say welcome to Space 519, opening May 1st in Chicago, IL, the Bureau of Urban Living in Detroit MI and the super nice folks at the Northwoods Rescue Sanctuary in Pine City, MN. Finally, a big welcome to our first retailer in Kentucky, Vespa Lexington in Lexington. Thanks to all for carrying Field Notes!
