Time for another round up of new Field Notes retailers and the list has gotten pretty big so I will break this up into two posts. Thanks to good folks at St. Johns College Bookstore, we now have our first retailer in New Mexico in lovely Santa Fe. Jumping over to Corpus Christi TX and saying hi to the cool kids at Produce. Over on the East coast, welcome to The Paper Tyger in Falmouth, MA and the Cape Cod Pantry in Provincetown MA which opens Memorial Day weekend for the summer. Next we head overseas to the UK and Folk with two locations in London and Found in Bath. We have our first retailer in Sweden with Krig & Fred in Stockholm and another white dot in Denmark with Cold Rice Social Club in Copenhagen. We’ve added a retailer in Munchen, Germany with UmWerk and our solo retailer in Singapore at Strangelets and last but not least, Bay of Fire Wines in Tasmania, Australia. We got a nice package in the mail today from our friends at J Crew, their latest catalogue. When we got to pages 94-95 and saw that our Field Notes Memo Books were featured with such iconic brands as Timex, Sperry, Ray Ban, and Belstaff, we just about fell over. J Crew has been with us for a long while, they started by carrying us in their awesome men’s shop, The Liquor Store in Tribeca and we sure do appreciate their support. Oh and our kids dig them too.

Here’s a decidedly global post to welcome our newest retailers: First, we head over to Kuala Lumpur in Malayasia where we say “hi and welcome” to CZIPLEE. Next up, Reunion Island, an “overseas département” of France 120 miles off the coast of Madagascar, is the home of another new retailer, HIP ISLAND. The storefront pictured above will soon be carrying FIELD NOTES, welcome to LE LIÈVRE DE MARS located in lovely Marseille, France. Finally, we head on back to the States to Seattle, where we say “hi” to two new retailers, BLACKBIRD and THE FIELD HOUSE. Welcome to all!
If you don’t happen to live near Reunion Island, you can find a retailer near you here.

This weekend we got two emails, one from my old friend Zach Matthews, and one from Jim’s old pal David Sutton. Both were wandering the streets of Williamsburg in Brooklyn and saw our Mackinaw Autumn FIELD NOTES in a shop window. Both of them were thoughtful enough to send us an eerily similar photo (David’s is on the left, Zach’s is on the right). The shop in question is dijitalfix, which you may remember from Michele’s Brooklyn Field Trip. Thanks, David, Zach, and dijitalfix!

So a few weeks back, I was in NYC for the fab Capsule Show. FIELD NOTES had a booth there and we met a ton of really cool people and are now carried in a bunch of new stores. So long as I was there I decided to take a trip over the Brooklyn to visit some of our retailers as a follow up to a trip I made in May to stores that carry Field Notes in Manhattan.
