Taking a look at the goods.
Recently we were contacted by Pack Your Back, a new non-profit that is providing school supplies to underserved children in Flint and hopefully soon, to children across the whole state of Michigan.
We also have some notebooks being deployed with the 3-8 Calvary based out of Fort Hood, Texas. Their Chaplain wrote us and said, “I’m always looking for ways to build camaraderie and to encourage my soldiers to journal. We will be leaving for deployment in a year, and I would love to have a way for my soldiers to journal during that time.” Well dangit if that doesn't sound like one of the best possible uses for our little notebooks that we've ever heard.

Ready for the journey.
“Normally I am not a fan of spiral bound notebooks but the Byline was bound on the top, that makes life easier for a lefty.” A nice little Byline review on Alt. Haven. Thanks for that.
Clickbait Listicle Warning: Forbes published the “15 Things Successful People Do Differently” and we couldn’t agree more with #6.

“Recovering what we can after #thegreatfloodof2016 I’m thankful that I recovered my Field Notes notebook! It’s the little things in life that matter the most.” –Hansen Rogers

We had a little tip from Design Rangers that Field Notes appears in the September Pottery Barn Catalog. Thanks for passing that along.
Last, but certainly not least, if you know a shop in your neighborhood or town that should be carrying Field Notes please let us know!
