Free Range to Doodle

June 9, 2016 by Matthew

Walter Fnspread

Above: Two Rivers and Drink Local were recently featured in Issue #2 of the great new French/English magazine, Walter.

“I don’t mind that the paper is unlined, in fact I actually prefer it... there’s free range to doodle in any direction.” A wonderfully illustrated review from The Well Appointed Desk.

“Since I wasn't going to change my habits any time soon, I knew from the start Sweet Tooth wasn’t ideal for me.” A comprehensive review from Jinnie at Three Staples that shows that while some aren’t crazy about everything we put out, they overwhelmingly appreciate our efforts and, for that, we are thankful.

Finally, Ben Saunders spoke to Financial Times about why explorers always carry notebooks. “Their diaries were usually written as log books so they tend to be fairly devoid of emotion — they just talk about the weather and distance. It made us feel completely inadequate, complaining about feeling cold with 21st-century equipment when they had woollen jackets and hobnail boots.” Unfortunately, the interview is behind a paywall. Ben was the inspiration behind our popular Expedition Edition, which went to the South Pole with him.
