Ben farms land close to the Sea of Galilee and wrote in to share how he uses Field Notes.
I am in charge of the irrigation and fertilization of our dates, avocado, and almonds plantation, 1,300 acres in total. I work alone. Sometimes I use workers for bigger projects but I love my daytime loneliness. It’s just me and my John Deere Gator utility vehicle.
Once a day I drive between each plantation’s watering system control head. This gives me a chance to see my systems, check for problems that occurred during the night, etc.
Until I found Field Notes I had many notebooks but they didn’t pass the first page. I just couldn’t be happy with them. Once I found Field Notes, it’s like the memo book itself generates great ideas. I use it all the time for ideas that come up, notes and memos regarding irrigation, percentages of fertilizers, fixes, and more. Then I come home and I use it to sketch a tree house for my daughter, or come up with names for my wife’s future business, or the dentist appointment.
I am a man who has held many memo books. This is like no other.
