Wednesday Murder Club Update

November 24, 2025 by Jim

Thanks to everyone who participated in this madness. Make sure you’re on The List to get a first look at stuff like this in the future.

Murder on a plate blog

From the Murder Book’s back cover: Solve a crime at the scene of an All Hallow’s feast, Name the killer and weapon that felled the deceased.

First off, the deadline for entry has passed. Thanks to all the sleuths out there who submitted an answer. We randomly chose ten folks who submitted the correct puzzle solution and they will each win a year-long subscription to our quarterly limited editions.

Winners & The Solution

Derrick K. in Oswego, John-Steven A. in Lincoln, Judy K. in San Diego, Kevin S. in San Mateo, Michelle F. in Seattle, Oliver P. in Richland, Peter G. in Chicago, Ross M. in Western Springs, Ryan H. in Hedgesville, and Will P. in Zillmere.

We’ll be in touch. The puzzle was created by Sandy Weisz and Mao Reynolds of The Mystery League. If you’d like to see how the puzzle works, Sandy has explained it all here.
