The Advice Angler. The Deal Hunter. The Eye Rester. The Lawn Don, and Board Game Warden. “Dad.”
This “Dad Pack” is a celebration of all fathers, their idiosyncrasies, and everything that makes a dad a Dad. Together with The Young Jerks and the crew at Misc. Goods, we’ve made 1,000 of these kits and they’re available for sale right now.
Highly useful — and easy on the eyes — the collection utilizes the language of procedural permitting in a way that most dads will appreciate, and all will surely respect.
Permit Us to Elaborate
The very limited set includes three Field Notes “Parental Permit” Graph Paper Memo Books. The covers are made from “Lemon Drop,” “Spearmint,” and “Cotton Candy” cover stocks from French Paper Co. The books have plenty of places to add personalization, and we expect they’ll soon be full of Dad’s projects and schemes.
A Field Notes Memo Book fits perfectly in this beautiful snap-to-close compartmentalized leather cover, designed and made in Louisville, Kentucky. The sweet leather wrist cord makes it an everyday carry, so Dad can always remember who’s his favorite kid (it’s you).
Also included are three “Dad-Libs” Postcards, for practically effortless parent-child and child-parent communication. All that’s missing are some dad jokes, some kid jokes, and 48 cents of official United States postage.
Finally, we’ve included three more accessories: an official “Parental Permit” 1.5 inch button for Dad to show off at the soccer game or Cub Scout Pack meeting, a “From the Desk of Dad” No. 1 pencil for sketching big ideas, and a beefy “Bureau of Lawn Mgmt.” pink eraser (though we all know Dads rarely make mistakes).
At this price and this quantity, these kits are likely to disappear in no time. Think of all your dad’s records, dress shirts, and scotch you’ve appropriated over the years, let alone all the Field Notes you’ve “borrowed.” It’s time to make it up to him, big-time.
