The Final Frontier of Pens

There are fancier pens, there are more expensive pens, but there is no pen more versatile than the Fisher Space Pen™. Fisher’s bullet-shaped pen is less than four inches long when stowed in your flight suit pocket, but when deployed, it’s a full-sized, well-balanced writing instrument featuring Fisher’s famous cartridge: a precision-fitted tungsten carbide ballpoint with thixotropic ink in a sealed and pressurized reservoir.

The Space Pen is the perfect match for our indefatigable Expedition Edition notebook. These pens are the real deal; they're precision-made, durable, and capable of writing in zero gravity, upside down, underwater, and at temperatures from −30 to 250°F (−35 to 120°C). They’re made in Boulder City, Nevada, U.S.A., and trusted by demanding users all over (and orbiting above) the planet Earth.

Need refills or a pen clip? You can order those direct from Fisher.
