3 COLORFUL COVERS XOXO 2018 ILLUSTRATED BY SHAWNA X
Since the fantastic Portland design conference XOXO started, we’ve been producing small, custom runs of our Memo Books for attendees to go along with the visual theme of each year’s event. After taking a year off, XOXO returned for 2018, bigger and more awesome than ever. The conference worked with the unstoppable Shawna X this year, so of course, we did too. The results are beautiful, featuring three covers, each a bright explosion of color and form.
We made some extras of this 3-Pack so that Field Notes fans who couldn’t attend XOXO can still have a chance to get them. We’re offering them here at FNHQ but they’ll go fast.

Innards: Finch Paper Opaque Smooth 60#T “Bright White,” with a fine, 1-color application of Pantone 804 soy-based fluorescent Saphira ink.

Cover and innards printed on a Heidelberg Speedmaster XL 105 40" 6-color printing press.

Bound with a Heidelberg Stitchmaster ST 270 5-pocket saddle stitcher with cover feeder/scorer & Rima RS 10S in-line stacker.

Corners precisely rounded to a 3/8" (9.5mm) radius with a Challenge SCM double round-corner machine.
