Fountain Pen Tests

FIELD NOTES have found a lot of fans in the fountain pen community, largely thanks to some good reviews on enthusiast sites like Fountain Pen Network, Richard's Pens, and a few others. Fountain pen fan John G. Lowe of Laurel, Maryland decided to go a step further and try out more than a dozen pens -- new and old, of various styles -- in a FIELD NOTES notebook and mailed us the book for reference. His complete results follow:

"I'd say this paper holds up rather well to my fountain pens… This paper seems to perform better than Moleskine."
