We’ve partnered with Ingersoll to help them celebrate the company’s 125th Anniversary this year by creating a special edition Ingersoll Field Notes 3-pack. Ingersoll created the first military watch, the first glow-in-the-dark watch, and the iconic Mickey Mouse watch. The company was founded in 1892 by two brothers in New York City and is currently owned by British watchmaker Zeon.
“We wanted to introduce a notebook into our range of accessories and felt that Field Notes was the perfect brand to collaborate with as they place the same high level of care and attention into every detail that we do when designing and making an Ingersoll watch. The notebook we use has the power to say something about who we are as individuals, and that’s very true for the watch we wear. The notebooks have a very vintage feel and perfectly compliment our design aesthetic and use of materials within our overall brand presentation, and are the perfect escape from the modern high tech world we live in.” –Simon Gilham, Managing Director of Ingersoll.
The design for the notebooks was inspired Ingersoll's distinctive kraft, black, and white packaging with the Ingersoll logo printed in white foil on the back cover and bound with matching white staples. The belly band features a lovely black-and-white tintype photo from their collection. The pack contains two ruled books for daily musings and one plain book for drawing or sketching. This special edition is only available through the Ingersoll site.
