Starting with our current Quarterly Limited Edition, “Coastal,” we’re trying something new with our subscriber shipments.
As always, when you start a year-long subscription, your first shipment comes in a box and includes two of the current limited edition and (for a limited time) our sorta-weird 10th Anniversary 3-Pack. There will also be some other goodies, and sometimes a subscriber-only bonus too. After that first package, your following three shipments will, more than likely, come in stay-flat mailers.
That hasn’t changed. But the box containing your first shipment has. Going forward, each year we’ll collaborate with an artist to produce that box. For 2018, we worked with Dan Black of Landland, a “very-small-but-very-capable two-person studio” famous for their intricately-detailed posters and art prints. Dan illustrated and screen-printed his vision of our Midwest HQ in Chicago. We hope you dig it.
What will next year bring? You probably know us well enough to realize that we haven’t really thought that far ahead yet. We have the Summer (OMG you guys, if you could see what’s on Bryan’s desk right now you would totally freak out. Seriously.), Fall, and Winter Quarterly Editions to create first. But it’s safe to assume that the 2019 box will be something completely different.
So, now is a great time to start a year-long subscription. Start with the Landland Box containing Coastal and other stuff and save some money in the process too. If you’ve already stocked up on “Coastal,” you can pre-order Summer now, and if you’re already a subscriber, fear not, we’ll be using this box for all first subscription shipments (new or renewal) until the Spring 2019 edition comes out.
