We offer a variety of leather covers for our beloved Field Notes, including the popular Everyday Inspiration and Daily Carry. Both of those are great as a combination cover/wallet, but if you’re looking for something a little lighter, thinner, and simpler, we know you’re going to love our new Leather Jackets.

Available in four stylish colors, each Field Notes Leather Jacket is a single panel of leather with a looped elastic band that can hold and protect one or two Field Notes Memo Books… compact, elegant… it couldn’t be simpler!

But “simple” doesn’t mean skimping on quality or style — quite the opposite! These sleeves are lovingly handcrafted by our friends at Ezra Arthur, a family-run leather goods company in Phoenix, Arizona. Three colors (Red, Ash, and Tan) are created using fine full-grain leather. The Black version introduces a vegan-leather cover to our lineup. All feature the Field Notes logo branded on the front cover, with Ezra Arthurs' logo branded on the bottom of the back cover.

We’ve been carrying the prototype in a back jeans pocket for a few months now, and it’s worn in beautifully: it’s soft and flexible, but plenty tough. Like any good leather jacket, ours will serve you well for many years, keeping countless Memo Books — and your important ideas — safe from the elements.

To get you started, we’ve included a single Standard Kraft Graph Field Notes Memo Book, our iconic original product. It’s the plain white tee to wear under your leather jacket, a classic combo that works like it should, in any setting.
