Introductions and Some Fun

We figured since we all have time on our hands these days, it would be fun to get to know each other a little better and also give away some cool stuff. Here’s Trina.

“How’s it going everyone? Staying healthy? Staying sane? We here at Field Notes hope we can help with that, whether it’s using our notebooks to jot down your to-do list or something that inspires you, a canvas for those impressive doodles, or just reading about others and our Field Notes family online.” 

“My name is Trina and I’ve been part of the Field Notes crew for ten years on the wholesale and customization team. I have the opportunity to help our retailers throughout the world, approving new retailers and trying to add more that fit with our brand. I also work with companies to help produce custom notebooks for promotions and giveaways, along with logistics and ticketing for larger companies. It’s exciting to discover how companies and people use our notebooks in ways I’ve never dreamed before, and it’s really rewarding to know I’m a part of it all.”

“When I’m not working at Field Notes, I’m biking (aka my car) around Chicago or walking with my 2 year old daughter strapped to me, my 4 year old daughter in the stroller, and husband.  Being socially distant of course! Those walks in fresh air really help us keep our sanity and it’s the only time my kids will nap at the same time!”

“I also teach cycle classes at Power Sculpt Fitness on the weekends, or should I say used to, as those have been cancelled with the stay-at-home order. It’s a small group fitness studio that I’ve been a part of since they opened in 2011. Luckily the owner Heather Hughes has been creating her own classes and streaming them daily. That has been a real life saver these days!”

“I grew up in Cincinnati and moved here with my twin sister for college. I met my husband my sophomore year, and we’ve been together and stayed in the city since. So let’s all do our part, wash your hands while singing Happy Birthday. It’s 20 seconds, people!”

Winners and Prizes

Yesterday’s random winners are Wendy in North Carolina, Rob in Cape Cod, and gingermonkey01 in Oregon. They will each receive the “Campfire” Edition from the Summer of 2017, printed with bold line screens and solid spot colors, each 3-Pack also includes a “Campfire Master” patch. Congrats.

Today’s winners will receive the “Unexposed” Edition from the Fall of 2014, three super-bright Memo Books in an opaque black sleeve. Which of the six colors will you get? Nobody knows! The film for this one is pretty bleeping good too.
