Below are the winners of the contest included in our most recent Staple Day Newsletter. We asked folks to email us a favorite quote from one of our films. We chose fifty entries and are sending the folks listed below one of 700 numbered Field Notes Film Festival 2-Packs.
We received a ton of entries, and almost everyone also included a note explaining why they selected their quote and what is means to them. We appreciate everyone who took the time to write. As for another screening of The FNFF, New York, Portland, Los Angeles, and Chicago (again) were the cities with the most support. We’ll see, maybe we’ll do it again this fall. Here are the five films most often quoted in the entries.
1. A Man You Don’t Meet Every Day, for “The Birds and Trees of North America” Edition.
2. The In-Between Time, for the “Heartland” Edition.
3. From Seed, for the “Original Kraft” Edition.
4. Circle of Light, for the “Campfire” Edition.
5. United State of Letterpress, for the edition of the same name.
ICYMI, Here’s the program from the festival.
