These Pair Nicely

It’s no secret we love letterpress printing. This fall’s Hatch Show Print edition followed in the footsteps of our earlier United States of Letterpress (Fall 2020) and Two Rivers (Spring 2015) editions. These three sets rank among our favorites, not only because the final results were astounding, but also because they gave us the opportunity to work with a host of America’s best letterpress designers and printers. These feel even more special because of the hands-on process involved. Each is hand-set with wood and metal type… it’s a messy, slow, special process. Brayers and bodkins and quoins. Machinery from long before we were born. We can’t get enough of it.
If you, likewise, can’t get enough letterpress, here’s your chance to get your hands on all these special books all in one place. And it’s definitely your last chance to get 2015’s “Two Rivers.” We cracked open the last box, and used them to make up 125 “Inked Up” Box Sets. Each includes one Two Rivers 3-Pack, one each of the three United States of Letterpress 3-Packs, and two 3-Packs from Hatch Show Print. That’s eighteen hands-on Field Notes memo books. They’re packed in a hand-rubber-stamped (”rustically” aligned in two colors, Bryan got ambitious!) hand-numbered corrugated box.
